In reply to Post #18 Regards the cold feet issue in winter, once I take off my winter jacket to get into the sleeping bag I simply cover the bottom of the sleeping bag with it. Makes a huge difference 👍

Hi all, I got the Preston's one, used it when doing day session piking, it's good, I'm happy with it, now retired it till next winter.

In reply to Post #6 Preston gillet gets good reviews from the match lads round here too. It was when talking to one last autumn that he told me about the heated seat pad... got me thinking about using it for the foot area in my sleeping bag to keep my feet warm.

Makita (and the other tool companies no doubt) have bought out heated versions I believe for site working etc, I would expect those would be of a good standard of quality.

In reply to Post #10 Let’s wait for Heated blanket man to pop up with his latest wacky design .

In reply to Post #1 Surprise me why none of the big tackle brands have jumped on the heated clothing idea. I know a few do sleeping bags. So why not clothing? Maybe they've looked at it and thought it's going nowhere. Or maybe watch this space.. who knows..

In reply to Post #1 I brought a cheap one cost about £25. It lasted for 3 years although I didn’t have it on constantly, just in the mornings and evenings if it was cold. It had different settings that you could set it to. The only downside was I had to replace the zip.

I have the Saber one, it’s very good 👍🏼

Thanks for the reply, needless to say the cheap ones are apparently rubbish, spoke to a match fishing friend this evening, who has a 'Preston innovations' one, said it's great, 4/5 heat settings, sounds ideal for day sessions.
