Ok, after the recommendations on here I purchased my components yesterday and set up 1 rod.
Line is 18lb Solar Bulletproof. 2oz heli lead attached using a qc swivel covered with a heli sleeve. 7 inches of dark matter tubing and a line save bead. 20lb mouthtrap, kamakura size 4 chod hook with a bait screw and a size 11 ring swivel. I then put a naked chod safety system 14 inches from the line saver bead.
A lot of Youtube vids were watched as well.
Looks very neat so just need to get out and see how well it works,

That’s definitely how I’m looking at doing it as well. Going to buy all the components tomorrow set it up on one rod.

This is how I fish choddys... Fixed lead then a length of dark matter tubing thinking anglers bead then the ring swivel and another thinking anglers bead above.

Hi mate,
As you also use the Korda system maybe you can help - the rubber barrel bead sometimes moves down towards the lead when I cast, have you experienced this?
It's important this stays where it is meant to be - but it might be moving because I am using 12lb mono rather than a heavier flouro?

Hi mate,
As some have replied, the naked chod system from Korda is really good.
The only extra you'll need is Size 11 Ring Swivel or Size 11 QC Ring Swivel.

Many thanks. I have all those items you have mentioned in a list with a few other items. I just need to start putting it together in my head and decide what I feel seems best.
I have just recently purchased some Solar Bulletproof as a few people on here have mentioned it so I may just use that and save £20!

I use tiger line in 16lb and the Korda naked chod bits and one of the Korda line savers at the lead end to protect the line then a heli sleeve pushed over a quick change clip and the lightest lead l can get away with to hit the spot, usually a size 6 choddy hook with either 12mm or 14mm boilie, also l alway cut the swivel of the lead just looks neater.

Any pure fluorocarbon of a sensible breaking strain is fine to use for the naked chod. You do not need doubled lengths or leadcore at the bottom, or any fancy beads to protect the line. After landing a big carp, the bottom couple of inches above the buffer bead will concertina in a similar way to nylon does on the tip ring after big casts. Just take a couple of inches off after each fish banked. But the ring swivel will not cheese wire through it. It can through nylon with a big carp on.
Tiger Line will be absolutely fine. Use the heaviest BS. The naked chod is all about getting the hook bait as far away from the lead as possible. The weight of the heavy slack line is then very hard for the fish to deal with. They have no lead to shake the hook out when it is 8 foot from the hook bait. But the weight of the fluoro is enough to pull the hook point in, and keep it in. You get very funny bites, as they are headshaking, trying to throw the hook. Then they bolt after a delay. It's best to use the heaviest BS for that reason. It's far heavier and gives more resistance to the rig on the bite.
It's the most efficient rig there is for fooling big carp that have wised up to spitting out conventional rigs, ones tethered to a lead. It's really hard for them to deal with.

Never had it let me down fishing a weedy water. I do get what you’re saying but I have lots of faith in 20lb x line
