In reply to Post #6 What you want is a multi rig for your popups, simplicity at its best
Btw above the weed isn't always best. In the weed is where the natural food is....

In reply to Post #5 I want a pop up rig I can use above silt weed, I used a chod on my last session and I wasn’t confident in it.. I don’t know why might be because it was my first time using it and my first time on my syndicate I just joined

In reply to Post #1 If you use it for pop-ups with 20lb Amnesia then personally I would have it very low to the lakebed, just resting on it if using an inline or pendant lead set-up.
It does work very effectively, especially on harder lakebeds, where you have a few boilies spread around.
With a chod setup on siltier bottoms you can get away with a higher presence.

In reply to Post #3 I used a chod set up once for pop up, is there any simple pop up rigs I seen stiff hinge might try that I just don’t want to over complicate rigs that I use. I want to keep it simple and catch fish

In reply to Post #2 20lb amnesia is great and a chod hook is fine. Use with balanced baits it's most effective. I wouldn't use it for pop ups personally

Looking at starting to use d rig for bottom bait and wafter, going to use chod hooks would amnesia at 20lb be stiff enough for it to reset itself? Also have anyone used the d rig with pop ups?
Thanks
