Shopping trolley used to be prestige core business many years ago . I worked for Alan for a few months when I left school but the carp porters took over from that unless they have another warehouse Dealing with them as I've visited their only unit in Basildon I know of many times and it's just full of boxes of carp porters and other fishing luggage they sell never saw old lady's shopping trolley

Korda have been distributing for Prestige for a while. Could well be true. But wasnt that also the case for Mainline who they also distribute for.

Core business is importing now. Nothing made in the U.K. anymore it seems atleast not there most popular mk2. And the drop in quality shows. Mine is extremely rusty, handles wobble like a one legged mr blobby despite the stabilising bar and overall it just seems far less well built than the mk2 I have from years ago, which if not for age and misuse would still be going today.

My mate who works in a tackle shop has said for years that prestige are a complete nightmare to deal with. He said they regularly order two barrows, then when they turn up they will make one decent one to sell from the parts of the two, then eventually when prestige bother to respond they get them to send them out the missing bits for the other one. In fact until covid I think they were selling more Nash barrows in the end.
I reckon Korda will have their work cut out sorting that out. There was a video that Ali Hamidi posted a few years ago. I think he might have been collecting a new barrow? Anyway the place looked like a burgled bring and buy sale.

Prestige's customer service was always awful imo.
What i will say though is once i got my barrow sorted it has been really great and is still going strong about 12 years on
