I have used this for years with Gardner ultra skin stiff and a Korda krank choddy hook, the hook holds are insane and the hooklink lasts ages, I haven’t used it much recently but if I’m using a chod it’s my go to.

Nah doubled over youre standard chod hooklink. I use atomic chod wyre. You might be able to get close to the stiffness using doubled ESP xtra stiff or something similar.

Yes and good. Fiddly to tie up straight but once you get the knack of it you’ll be fine.
A quick steam and a change of the hook and you’re good to go. No need to cut off and retie leaders to change the hook.

Has anyone ever used this instead of the standard Chod rig? How did you find it? Did it work effective for you? Thanks
