Echo what has been said. ESP and thinking anglers, best I’ve tried and used by far, both very similar products

I was a big fan of the esp stuff since it came out but tried the TA camsoft as it was half price in a shop and I have to say it’s brilliant, just as good as the esp which is the best on the market in my opinion, either of those are really good 👍

In reply to Post #10 ditto, this or TA camsoft, both more than supple enough

Check out the Spotted Fin coated braids. I tried them by chance and have been very impressed. Doesn’t need steaming, very supple, and the coating is knot proof 👌

In reply to Post #1 I still prefer Kryston coated hooklink materials like Snakeskin and Snakebite. Jackal is also good, but I found the coating could 'strip itself' in weed, so you may need to avoid that one

The soft ESP tungsten stuff could work. Couple of small blobs of putty to try and bed it down in the pellet.

In reply to Post #4 Coated braid is allowed and you can break it for hinges but not pure braid

In reply to Post #2 agree with this.. coated or not, its still braided

Just use a good quality mono in 15lb, no probs. If you can find any Maxima is nice and soft.

Coated hooklinks are usually braided inside - are these permitted?

Off to a venue with a braided hooklink ban. Still wanting to use a solid bag. Can anyone recommend a suitable coated braid instead?
Thanks
