Couple of users have 'left the building' for a while...
...the ban is to stop them posting.

I'm bored of seeing good threads ruined by repetitive squabbles

The post you've replied to is the one who named the lake in the thread he wasn't the one being secretive.

John's vids and Kevin Ellis's vids are my absolute favourites, different styles but both make top notch watching 👍👍

I enjoy JT `s fishing vids IMO he is a proper angler and deserves all his fish

he dont sit on his arse guzzling beer or waiting for a fish to wake him up hats off to him hope he dont take any notice of the bitching tossers comments
I really doubt any of em would have the gonads to do what he does solo they wouldnt have a scooby doo

With the greatest respect to John, who I rate as a grafter, this type of scenario isn't what he is really good at. Dropping in at a going swim and winching them in is something anyone can do. Fishing a bank of rods, while risking losing all his tackle to the Rozzers, baiting three waters, fishing one during the day and another at night, off a bicycle, 700 miles from home, during a weekend session is what makes him a one in a million character. I sometimes feel he just likes to be up against it for it to be interesting for him. He is starting to mention his increasing age and I hope he keeps fit so we will have more of his cheeky, friendly style for a.few years yet.

Not really, there’s still the principal of the matter.

So it is. I guess this makes a lot of this thread completely moot.

I found it a bit boring also . A fine bit of angling though . I read through the YouTube comments and it was named on there as gravierre de longville . Is that the place ?

I'll agree JT's videos that I have seen always strike me as pretty chaotic, usually there has been a bit of drama with something not going to plan, a little rule bending here and there on occasion a big bit of rule bending which in my opinion only is when he looks like a rabbit in the headlights, but he obviously puts in plenty of effort and catches his fair share.

So long as he is enjoying himself aye.
