Oxygen crash yes. Happened last summer July/Aug time. They already had pumps going but the lake lost a lot of water from a leak so was several foot lower which didn't help.

I think they lost over 40 carp and there wasn't loads in there so not exactly sure what if any is left. A terrible shame. Some carp over 50 years old in there now gone

Sean Leverett mentions it in the Nash podcast. Was an oxygen crash I think?

Edit:
Don't think this is the first time this has happened actually. I think a few years back some sewage got into a brook that ran into the lake? This MIGHT have been what Sean mentioned.
As I have never fished the lake I'm just going by what I had heard/read.

Turns out there was a kill. They lost most of their fish last year, very little left from what I've heard now. Very sad indeed

Has anyone heard anything about Star Lane in Essex suffering a big fish kill?
