I’ve been twice now,December and in May. December Crays were horrendous I went prepared with wrap they were destroying that overnight. May this year not a problem with the crays didn’t even use wrap. The mornings can go nuts.

Enjoy mate. Crays didn’t bother me much but the ones I saw in the margin (look under the decking at night) were bloody massive

Brilliant Alfie, thanks mate. Early mornings and evenings will be my opportunities so sounds ideal.

Heard the Crays on there can be a nuisance, (as they are all over the water park!) so have got some plastic baits sorted...

I fished Willow lodge last August and had 11 bites landed 10. All fish were in good nick and biggest was a low 30 fully scaled with 4 20s from memory. Can only advise based on my experience - saw a few shows in an area, found a clear area and filled it in with pellet, corn and chops. Caught all my fish on fake yellow dumbell wafters. Island swim might be a bit different but I’m sure you’ll have a great time, lovely set up down there

Edit: oh and pretty much every bite was in the morning up until midday.
