There's a recent thread a few down from this one called "New Brolly", there's plenty of opinions on there. A few recommend the Wychwood MHR brolly, I had a Mk 1 version and it's a quality bit of kit. Just a standard 60" oval brolly, removable centre pole, then use storm poles. The material was excellent, you could throw house bricks at it and it wouldn't rip. And there was an overwrap for it if that's your thing. I presume the Mk 2 is just a improved version, with some tweeks to justify a more than 2 x price hike. But that's carp gear for you.

Looking for a bog standard 60 inch oval or standard brolly. NOT one designed as the basis for a shelter/overwwrap. As an old Fox hand I am drawn to their brolly .

Is it any good...any alternatives.
