The best loop knot is a non-slip mono loop; aka Krey loop.

Swapped over to fluro this season having not used it for years been using a figure of 8 knot and had no issues landed carp well into 40s from some hit and hold situations. When testing in 15lb I couldn’t break a figure of 8 with a rig puller!. Deffo can’t put that much pressure on it with a rod so I’m happy using it 👍🏼

best loop knot for fluro mainline for solid bag loop to loop fishing - using 0.34mm berkeley cf600 but heard fig 8 snaps easy with fluro
