It's the same as the Nitecore. Same buttons, same cycling of settings.

That makes the nightcore stand outfor me.. Separate buttons for red and white and the start off at the dimmest..
Really well thought out..

Re the Sunblesa: When turning it on do you have to trawl through the light settings to get the one you want? (I find this a right pain).
What is the battery life like?

Pretty much the same thing mate. Be crazy to buy the Nitecore at double the price imo. Nothing in it quality wise.

Hi there,
Can’t comment on the Nitecore but Ive had the Sunblesa a while and love it, that said I’ve not put it in the washing machine, I have however left it on the roof of my Bivvy during some torrential rain and it’s none the worse for it’s dowsing.
I particularly like the red light with 2 levels, the green a is nice bonus although I can’t say I’ve used it much and the two levels of white light seem good enough for most situations, the head band is comfortable and easily adjusted, all in all I like it.
Cheers

same as

but if its the same weight and lasts as long between charges and same light output power with the added benefit of a green light as well for half the price its a win win
