Hi Jeff,
Managed to squeak a 30 plus common out on the new rods, my oh my what a way to start, going forward I hope they continue to be that lucky for me👍👍

This is a short review of the workmanship, quality, finish, service and deal I received on a set of rods purchased from Rod builder and forum member Jeff Rawstorne, or you may know him better as Jeffire.
Anyway Harrison rods need no introduction or praise, we’ve used them for years, I just wanted to write a few lines to air the benefit of my experiences during this purchase.
If I start with the things I mark as tangible, what you can see, touch, feel, the quality of build and finish.
What can I say other than it is flawless, understated and subtle, very pleasing on the eye and as a trio of rods indistinguishable from each other, peas in a pod, lovely clean whipping to the Fuji guides, simple abbreviated shrink wrapped butt section with a tried and tested Fuji DPS reel seat down to a functional stainless end cap.
At the beginning the less tangible things are service and delivering what you want to a time scale that suites, again Jeff excelled here, regular updates on progress/delivery down to tracked delivery arriving ON TIME, well done.
Then there’s the price, we’ll the old adage of you get what you pay for sort of applies here, however I got so much more, I actually got what I was looking, not an interpretation or close to it, I got what I wanted at a price I was happy with and honestly not so much more than a factory built Rod.
All in all I’d like to say they are things of beauty, based on my experiences I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Jeff’s services as a top notch guy that delivers a great product in a fantastic time scale at a price you’ll be happy with, so if you are after custom built rods just drop him a pm here, it’s an easy and memorable experience for the right reasons
