Hi mate,

It’s a special place for sure.

I assume you mean Whelford when you say other lakes? If so, they’re nice. Decent stock and they’re growing quickly. Bit of a different kettle of fish when compared to Bramble as it’s day ticket and open to all

It is indeed a bivvy job, with really decent toilets and showers. Plenty of good takeaways that deliver to the gate too.

Tench was 8.2. Not massive bust a pleasant surprise.

Quite fancy trying Bramblemere for a group trip, especially with the dark and fully scaled they have in there.
Are any of the other lakes worth a try?
What facilities does it have? Im guessing its a bivvy job with toilets?

How big was the tench?

Thanks

Bloody awesome that is mate. How big?! Cracking pics too

Here’s a few from our yearly social to Bramblemere a few weeks back. It was a far cry from the 30° we had the same week last year, with 40mph south westerlies and torrential rain ripping straight into me for the first 24 hours. They hadn’t read the rule book however, and I only salvaged a blank first night by going long out of the wind once the conditions allowed.

Also had a pb tench. I bloody love that place, can’t recommend it enough if anyone’s looking for an exclusive booking.

Deathly quiet in here .

I finally had one Friday morning... my first since September, which was also the last fish to come out of the lake.

I’ve never been so happy to catch a 14lber.
