Nop, I would use either 1 or the other, not both together. If you are worried about the gravel splice the leadcore to your swivel/quick change (rig side) and splice a loop the other end so you still have the quick change for the pva bags

Just a quick one, would you splice lead core to a stem so it’s not direct to mainline over gravel?
