Hi. Me and a mate booked the smaller of the two for a social last spring. Cold, non stop rain for 48hrs but it was a laugh and my mate ended up with a nice,if somewhat pale, 20 and a 30 I think. Caught on a mag aligner over maggots . He was on the Left hand swim and fished to the far bank. Not much bankside cover apart from a couple of twiggy bits n bobs lol. Fairly sheltered too if the wind blows over them as they sit between the main ressie high banks and a tree line behind, however if its from the left or right,it became apparrent the fish were in the lee of the sheltered bank.

hope that helps a bit.

Hey all,

My brother and I looking to do a whole lake exclusive booking in next couple of months and have been looking at the 2x Berners Hall options: Meadow and Poultons.

Anyone here fished them and any experiences, good or bad?
On the website the fish look cracking - but have to say the lake scenery looks a bit bland and immature. Perhaps the pics are old and they've matured a bit now.

Alternatively, any other suggestions in Cambridge/Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire welcome
We've been waiting for Embryo's North Bank booking to come back online but hasn't happened yet.

Thanks!
