In reply to Post #1 I personally prefer the slip D. Loads more movement in the bait and the D rig kickers are a pain in the ass to fiddle about with on the bank (especially if you have cold hands)!

In reply to Post #1 Slip D is not the same as a D rig. Slip D is tied with uncoated or stripped braid and Is pretty much like a supple multi rig for bottoms baits or balanced baits
The D rig is tied with a stiff material. Can with be tied same way as a choddy with a single D or with an extended D using the whipping knot on the shank

In reply to Post #1 The kickers are an absolute nightmare to put over size 4-6 hooks... I would personally tie it using a slip D, passed through the eye and blobbed with a lighter
