That is terrible to hear about his other half taking her life. My thoughts go out to him and his family.

With regards his baits. The Dark Nexus was/is one of my favourite baits.

Very sad to hear this. When i was running ub we talked quure a bit, was a good guy with sound ideas about bait. Never skimped on quality. Hope he is ok

Hopefully once he has grieved and come to terms with, got over what has happened he can move on, and be stress free and happy, and possibly go back to his fishing and bait making.

I knew mark well for years, he was actually forced to stop, his Mrs had very bad mental health issues and him and his son were moved in secret by the police and domestic abuse services as his ex had become dangerous.
She sold all his tackle and bait stuff to fund her habits I was told, while he was out.
He was devastated as you can imagine,
I did hear he was moved to the west country but that's as far as I know, and his Mrs recently took her own life.
Very sad as his baits were very good and he loved his carping.
Hopefully he will be fishing some wind swept ressy down there when he can re buy all his stuff again.
He did say if anyone asked about him I could let them know what happened.
If I see any of his family I will send my regards.

Thats what he told me too and also a lot of the named anglers were using his baits too 😉😉

His bait was very reasonably priced. He packed up as he got sick of all the idiots wanting bait at less than 5 quid a kilo.

The nexus dark was a good bait i used it for a couple of years before he stopped making bait

Around 6/7 years ago there was a bait company called Alchemy Baits that did a bait named Dark Nexus.
If anyone knows the chap that used to own the company, could you drop me a PM please.
