When I made a order a few weeks ago it turned up less than 48hrs later ... brilliant service 👍
Mind you it was snow free then
With only a few hours to go I finally made a decision and went with half Royal Marine and half Monster Red, both with added matching paste, balanced baits & flavour booster and a pot of Scent from Hell pop ups with the booster bottle, what was even better was paying via paypal using the 4 monthly payments with no interest, happy daze

You lot have convinced me, 15k of royal marine, balanced bottom baits and glug ordered.

In reply to Post #97 Might just be the airball pop ups then that CC Moore's do that smell the same/ very similar to the Royal Marine?
I was humming of the Scent from Hell all day at work today after spraying some pop ups last night, surprised no one said anything, proper kicking up 😬

In reply to Post #95 Not sure about that mate. I've used pacific tuna wafters as single baits last year and abroad and did well on them, but this RM is different, much more old skool hutchy monster crab. Can't get rid of the smell on my hands despite scrubbing them...lol
Well, a Royal Marine cork dust pop up update:
The pop up is still popped up. It's been going strong since the 26th of last month up until now...won't sink 👌
In reply to Post #94 Very much so 👍
The smell is identical to CC Moore's Pacific Tuna and just a hint of the Scent from Hell.
In reply to Post #93 The RM stinks like monster crab!

In reply to Post #91 Send them a massage mate and ask them for their thoughts, spoke to a few guys last week and they pointed me in the right direction. What liquids go with what boilies etc. I went for the Atlantic heat in the end and got the scent from hell pop ups and wafters. Very helpful anyway and answered all my questions 👍🏽
In reply to Post #91 As for which flavour to use I was in the same boat as you - so that one you'll have to decide for yourself!
In terms of how fresh they are, I bought some Creamino shelflifes last July and am on the last 5 kilo bag.
I'll be honest and say they still smell and feel the same, they may have gone slightly harder but only just and can still break them up easily in my hand.
Cant comment on how the fish react as have had three day blanks this January and its not like the fish are feeding much anyway. I have ordered a load of shelf lifes for the coming season and would have confidence in using them in 6 months time.
Only my two pence worth but I recon they will be fine for for ages.
Only 3 days including today 5th before the 20% Discount Offer ends on Sunday 7th and I still cant decide which boilie to order, I liked what Simon Scott has to say about the Royal Marine, I also like the Monster red tank tests Ive seen on youtube, and thier quick acting qualities, maybe get them both.
Because Im a mobility challenged angler I dont do just days, I like to do a minimum of 72hrs or the effort to sort out all my gear is just not worth it, so I'm wondering when I'll/we will be able to go night fishing? and if the bait will still be at its best, or close to it, if I buy now but not able to use it for a few months?, Im guessing if I add liquids they will be fine, Ive never used Baitworks before whch is why Im asking, Ive used shelflife from other companies that are ok for a few months, I may of asked this question before but cant find it or remember, sorry if I have.

In reply to Post #86 My silly fault, it's the form dust ones, not cork balls
Lemme check, a day and a half in and still poped up
In reply to Post #85 It’s the cork dust baits I’ve had problems with, the scent from heaven/hells were always fine.
Didn’t know they did cork balls?
In reply to Post #85 A cork ball or cork dust pop up mate?
I think it’s the cork dust ones that people are slagging, personally I’ve not had an issue with the Atlantic heat ones, granted they are a different shade to the bait but a little spruce up with the booster liquid and a few drops of the hot oil and they are pumping out signals and have always been up the following day 👍
The little cork ball kits look spot on though.
Well, I've had a 15mm Royal Marine cork ball pop up tied up to a rig sitting under water for 24 hrs and it's exactly the same as it went in, super buoyant. Not the same as sitting in 20ft of water and the associated pressure, best I could do under the circumstances.
Maybe there were problems in the past or maybe super glugged DIY baits were sinking. All I know is these ones will do the trick nicely 👌
If I don't end up doing a Billingsgate on my place this year 🎣 with these baits, I'm ganna be well miffed
In reply to Post #79 I use the matching glug and oil and that is it
In reply to Post #82 Thanks for the BAF liquids suggestion.
In reply to Post #81 Used the ones listed from Baitworks, only as I had them for free.
All the BAF stuff is good, look at the descriptions all well written which helps pick a pre mixed liquid or powder or make your own, very easy and cheaper to do.
In reply to Post #80 Which ones you used mate?
They're a goodot.Aqua feeds
In reply to Post #79 I've used the powders, dont really add much, probably best used in a stick mix.
The coating of boilies thing is pointless in my view more benefit in liquids both in the way boilies, pellets etc absorb them and how they dissipate in water.
You can buy the powders cheaper elsewhere too.
Go to British Aqua Feeds, twice as much at half the price, and you can mix and match your own.
Ive already added matching Oil, Dip/Glug & Booster to my Royal Marine order, Ive also got a few litres of Calanus liquid to use, but am now debating whether or not to add the Crustacean liquid, Crustacean Powder and/or C-Stim liquid, has anybody used any or all these products?

In reply to Post #70 Not used the Hell pop ups but have used the pineaphells since they were released. Had some good fish in really cold poor conditions and enough times fished against a different hookbait to mean they now are the first one that goes out.
In reply to Post #70 was thinking of adding the Scent from Hell pop ups
Absolutely disgusting smell, I could never get in with it but it catches carp.
In reply to Post #73 Yeah, I've never bothered using their own wafters or pop ups, I make my own using cork balls and the paste which you can buy from the website.
Perfect, as you can customise them however you want. Baitworks only produce set sizes, I imagine to keep costs down.
In reply to Post #72 The AH wafters and cork dust pop up's I got were terrible, see the other thread. Others had the same , the potted bait looked nothing like the frozen stuff, they looked like a Ferrero Rocher, absolute junk.

In reply to Post #71 thats good to know
cant decide royal marine or atlantic heat. Both my current waters have hoards of bream, and in the past, fishmeals have attracted them like flies to ****, although krill baits don't seem to do it for the bream.
Any suggestions?

In reply to Post #68 Im ordering wafters to match boilies, was thinking of adding the Scent from Hell pop ups, as its in the RM, anyone used them, what did you think?
Reply to post 69..Thanks 'Smashing-it', thats put a spanner in my decision, my son uses AH with small amount of Creamino he also rates it highly.
If it helps, as a Baitworks user for the past 8/9 years I had the decision to make between Atlantic Heat & Monster Red, and Atlantic Heat was a whole lot more productive for me than MR was over a short testing period and is now my go to boilie.
In reply to Post #58 AAHHHHHH!!!!!!! I cant decide between Monster Red or Royal Marine, its really doing my head in!!!
In reply to Post #65 Hello mate, honest answer is I don’t know. I only left a handful of bait out to defrost and have a play with/check in some water.
Straight out the bag it didnt appear overly soft, just once it’s been in the water for a while the solubility took over and it did start to soften up and let out all the food signals.
I would guess that it’ll be ok sticking unless you are trying to push it out a good whack then you might get some splitting. Maybe give the factory a call and see what they say about sticking it 👍
In reply to Post #65 You wont go wrong using any of the baits and the hardest decision is which one to plump for.
The MR was my choice as i fish very short sessions and very soluble, and would not be far off a bait i would produce myself.

In reply to Post #50 Hi mate, i'm intrested in using the Creamino alongside the Royal Marine. How do you think the baits would hold up getting sticked out? I stick the Royal Marine out with no issues as it is a firm bait.
In reply to Post #63 Thanks everyone.
In reply to Post #60 Yes it’s 5kg bags and that’s the lowest split you can go.......
In reply to Post #58 Yeah mate. I phoned yesterday before I ordered and they told me to order up 100kg in say Atlantic Heat and in the comments section just describe the split you want all for the same price.
In reply to Post #60 All my previous large orders have come in 5k bags but I would mention what you want in the comments when purchased to be safe.
In reply to Post #59 Hi, thanks, do you know if thats in 5kg bags, so someone could split a 10kg order if they wanted?
In reply to Post #58 If you put 30 kg of one type in the basket , when you go through to check out there’s a comments box put the split of sizes / types in there
In reply to Post #47 Does anyone know if ts possible to split an order, I know different size is allowed in 5kg bags, but what about flavours, shelf life or frozen, for example a 30kg order split into 3 10kg , 10kg of shelflife 15mm RM, 10 kg frozen 18mm AH and 10kg 15mm shelflife MR?
In reply to Post #56 I test a sample of every boilie I make or buy in a glass of water (for 12-48 hours normally) before fishing with them...its a very easy way to understand your bait a little bit more
In reply to Post #51 Agreed! I like a softer more soluble bait to pump out the signals 👍
In reply to Post #52 I did think that may be the case 👍 seems to tick all the boxes on paper.
In reply to Post #52 No longer with Oxford baits then mate ?
In reply to Post #50 You won’t smell the spice mate, but stick a bit in your mush and you’ll soon taste it. It’s got a real surprising kick to it... bloody moreish.
I haven’t fished in a while but I’ve been to the garage regularly for a mouthful of boilie and a lick of glug
In reply to Post #50 Sounds just like a what a decent Boilie should be 👌🏼 Not sure solid after 3-4 days
In reply to Post #46 I’ve just had 10kg of Creamino delivered. I wouldn’t say it has a lot of spice in it but I’ve not tasted it.
It’s a coarse bait, loaded with hemp, there was pieces of tiger in the ones I broke open to have a look. It smells sweet and creamy, almost scopex type smell. I have smelt it before but can’t put my finger on it.
It’s also very water soluble, I put some in a tub of cold water and they were very soft after 24 hours almost paste like and took very little to crush them. I imagine if you have bream in the lake or silvers they’ll be able to peck away at them after 12-18hours. So I suggest getting some boosted hard hookers or wafters which are also tougher.
The bait soak is very thick, it’ll possibly sit closely to the deck but I haven’t tested it. Also can’t imagine it soaks into the bait if that’s what you like to do.
Hopefully get a chance to see if the fish like it soon 👍
In reply to Post #48 Cheers mate, plenty of bream in my waters and fishmeal baits attract the buggers.

In reply to Post #12 I havent, Perhaps they dropped the RR because thats not what it was anymore?

In reply to Post #12 Exactly what many former customers have said. Red dye that probably comes from Holland, a very common replacement for robin red today. One is expensive and one is about a penny. Very soluble and fills the tank with red water.
In reply to Post #11 You ever been to his unit? The original bait was garlic EO and maple, a cream palatant, Robin red, colour didn't leach out. Stuff now is full of red dye, doesn't smell or taste the same at all. Maybe some ingredients are not available now, dunno.... But it is quite a different bait, period.
In reply to Post #10 Possibly is garlic, smells like cheese to me.......hardly makes it a different bait nowadays....
