It depends on who or what job your doing

Where I am the early shift you won’t get nothing extra the late shift where I am is 2-11 and they get I believe after 9pm 1.1/3 but this is railway work

Shift work on minimum wage ffs. No wonder people can't feed themselves. Should be illegal. Welcome to the race to the bottom.

Brilliant shifts to work, and I would say you would have to be paid shift premium if you are doing them consecutively, ie one week earlies one week lates etc etc.

Those times are Best work patterns I have ever worked on.

They don't have to pay shift allowance even if you are doing unsociable hours,as long as they are paying minimum wage or above they are fine

This is a guess only
Based on those hours and what's expected of supermarket workers I'd say they don't have to.

Right just a quick one. I may be taken on permanent in a job after being on the agancy for 12 weeks. I've been told that that don't pay shift allowance. I work 6am till 2pm then 2pm till 10pm. The question is do the company have to pay some sort of shift allowance ?? Or don't thay have to ? As other jobs that I've had doing shift work I've always had shift allowance. Do any of you guys no if that don't have to pay it ? Thanks for any info
