In reply to Post #8 sieving fishmeal is a good idea anyway as there is like to be a few bigger bits knocking about in it anyway.
do this with the "standard white fishmeal" i source from various places

In reply to Post #7 AA baits version was very dry and course ( mask needed if sieving )
Ccmoore’s version was a lot nicer to work with, almost felt softer and held moisture.

In reply to Post #6 Thanks I’m swaying that way, I already have that in the mix.
But wanted to include a tuna meal and lt94 but the highest quality Tuna I could find without blindly ordering from lots of different companies.
It would seem bacarel used to do a tuna meal a couple of years ago but not anymore.

Could try keeping the quality fish meals and adding BAF Tuna Hydrolysate, it is bloody lovely smelling and amino rich.

In reply to Post #4 it is unlikely that LT Tuna meal is actually made as you would not try and make a premium fish meal product while starting with maybe the lowest quality main ingredient.

In reply to Post #2 I should have explained that better, has anyone sourced a low temperature tuna meal?

Tuna is also very iffy on the sustainability front.

In reply to Post #1 Can’t you get hold of any LT94 from anywhere ?
Some of the Tuna meals are low in oil, about 10-12%, so are good for year round use.

Merry Christmas everyone.
I’ve been looking at the tuna as a partial replacement for lt94 and was looking for some guidance as to the best quality tuna meal available?
Thanks Tom.
