Good point!!

Alternatively..

Perhaps they are oposite to the ones who spend all their money on bait / bait research but won't spend money on decent waterproofs and shelters and end up so piss wet through that they bugger off off home early completely drenched whilst the fish mop up their finest quality, line and pressure free, bait... ..

I'm looking at loading my freezers in the garage, so I've been looking.

Good deals on CC Moore website, and if you sign up to their newsletter, they'll send you a 10% discount code. I've only used Live System, which was good.

Baitworks boilies are really good, and they do Black Friday deals (20 or 25% off). Their Atlantic Heat was my previous bait that I'd used for several years, but the last batch I had was very soft, hence the change now.

DNA baits have good bulk deals on, but never used them.

I got some free samples from JH Baits, didn't really know much about them, but people rate their baits. They also sent me a 10% discount code with the samples.

Think you can also get good deals at the shows, but I guess there won't be any for the foreseeable due to COVID. Other than that, wait for Black Friday.

You don't need to pay cash for that price (£5 a kg) card is fine.

Hydra is £6 a kg from memory. It is their premium bait after all.

You really can't get better bait for the money IMO.

Hydra K is more expensive but the older malarkey type baits and MC nut are £5 / kg if you collect a reasonable amount and pay cash on the barrel. I usually get 20 or 30kg at a time to make the trip worthwhile.

Really? So my mate who goes and picks it up direct from Geoff is getting done then? I suppose to it depends a bit on what you buy, the hydra k is probably more money than mc nut for example.

Lol.

I think Terry has dropped the bread from what I can make out. You can actually put it out now with a stick without it blowing up. To be honest, I do prefer it with hovis as it was so easy to break apart and mash up. Pain in the arris to crumb up now. I've used bread in loads of my own mixes, nothing wrong with bread, it's a fantastic ingredient, carps love the stuff. I do get why people would get p issed as it's a relatively cheap ingredient

DNA is always available on deals. I think I’ve paid about £6 a kilo delivered every time I’ve ordered

Essential b5 is around that price if you go direct and buy enough of it.

No. It’s a version of Geoff’s bait with added hovis. Which is ironic cause I think that hovis used to say “with nought taken out”

Did fancy getting Geoff's OG maple/nut bait, but that's not going to be £5.50 a kg. Good bait by all accounts.

Yeah guys, mega cheap was quite ambiguous.

Let me cast this out there as a starting point. The Krill shelf life £37.50 on 5kg bags for 50 kg worth. Anyone best that?

Urban baits nutcracker £35 for 5kg for 50kg deal.

I'm only interested in shelf life as they don't go off like freezer baits do.

Cheapest you will get from ABS is about £5.50 a kilo for their regular baits. If you buy a tonne.😄
What do you consider to be cheap as you didn't say? DNA and Trent Baits do 50kg deals for approx £6 a kilo.

Define mega cheap

Best bet would be go to someone like Geoff bowers tell him how much you want to spend and quantity and see what he can do for you.

There’s an old cheap bait sticky thread, hasn’t been touched in a while but might be useful.

Best place is usually direct from the supplier themselves thus cutting out the middle man but this can be easier said than done and is sometimes dependant on quantities bought on whether they will deal direct or who you know.

It's a hard question to answer as different shops/sites do deals on different brands there is no definitive answer. If you have your eye on a 'shop' brand that do not deal direct ask your local, shop, at least you will save on postage

As per thread title

Asking this for myself and hopefully it will be helpful to others.

Anyone got any websites or places to get mega cheap bait from? Bulk boilies do some reasonable deals.
