In reply to Post #1 I used to play for leisure a lot, I'd love to know how many hours but these days I pay for it, my shoulder and elbow are knackered, so much so the crunching in my elbow makes the Mrs feel sick.
Always loved watching the BDO at Lakeside, so sad to see it disappear, not so keen on the BDC.

No, don’t play darts any longer though I do have a board though. Not too good now though and rarely play.
Holly bush on bentilee at the age of 14 23p per pint of harp. Some 4 years later I got a punch of one of the top lads ‘well he was around 50’ in there but others then had to drag me off him as i interrupted some other guys whilst they were playing pool.....
Mad, mad days.
Edit - Anyway back on track with the thread and hope there’s some interest shown in it.

In reply to Post #1 Used to enjoy the darts. Played every Friday night for the pub. Started playing when around 13 and there were some decent players at the youth club I used to attend. Even at the age of 13 my best 501 was done in 11 darts. Unfortunately a little later I then discovered pubs n punch ups.
