In reply to Post #8 Have a look at Selfie fish. They do all sorts of setups, I’ve got a buzzbar with phone holder one side and LED light the other. Just screws onto a bank stick.

What light is best these days and is there a simple adapter so both light and phone can be attached to a single bankstick?

Most of the LED photo lamps (google that to avoid paying "the Carp Tax") have a standard size screw adapter that you can fit to a bank stick or small tripod. It will pay dividends to work out what balance you need to achieve a well lit shot in terms of distance and angle of the light and also if you might need to reduce your flash output.

In reply to Post #1 Just bare in mind when the rhino light is on the hot shoe slot on your camera it stops the camera flash working on your camera

I've just brought a rhino light for my proper camera. As I've been using my phone to take photos of fish on my phone at night. As the flash don't go of when it's ment to so been getting rubbish photo and so . Well just got this light for my proper camera. It just slides into the slot on camera where you would put a bigger flash and use it. It seem to be good even thow I've not used it yet. Have anyone used one for taking photos
