Had my target one morning late last week. The lake in question only holds a maximum of 10 fish these days, alongside a few real small ones that have been seeded for the future. 5 nights in and after my 3rd bite I got incredibly lucky and picked out the one I’d always wanted.

We’ve just bought our first house which had stressed me out beyond belief.... It’s easy to get caught up in angling these days, but once stripped back it offers such a release from the rigours of “normal” life. It certainly sorted my head out anyway and reminded me why we do what we do.
