In reply to Post #206 I dont think closing bars and restaurants in 9 main cities between 22.00 - 6.00 is going to effect a lot of people sitting in their bivvies at night, so buisiness as usual.

In reply to Post #207 I've just found a bit more info. The travels forms are only necessary during curfew hours in the affected areas so, as you say shouldn't be a problem travelling through these areas at other times.

In reply to Post #206 Fortunately most anglers, once at their venues, are not going to be out and about 21.00 to 06.00. Travelling through Paris or Rouen shouldn't present a problem for the travelling angler.

In reply to Post #201 What he has done is to instigate a state of health emergency that has been approved by the french government. This gives him the power should he wish to extend the emergency measures, nationwide if necessary. I live in Maine-et loire and the prefecture is imposing local restrictions. This is also happening in other departments. The situation here is worse than the UK, over 30,000 cases yesterday. so it is definitely not 'business as usual'. Be aware that the gendarmerie (ie police) are very hot on enforcing the rules and fines start at 135 euros. At the moment, outside of the curfew'ed towns there are no travel restrictions and no justification for travel is necessary, also there are no quarantine restrictions. Within the curfew'ed towns justification is required for travel.

In reply to Post #197 |m back out this weekend and don't see any problems with travel, as long as the infection rates, county vs country, are not massively apart.

I'm in France in November, I've had everything crossed for weeks, hoping that it comes off.
I realise that I will have to quarantine for two weeks when I get back, i just don.t want things to get worse which will mean that I can't go at all.
I won't bore everyone with the usual babble about money wasted, how long it's been booked etc.
i was wondering just what everyone's opinions are on things as they stand and how people think it will pan out over next few weeks. it's the question you never want to ask really, but it's getting close now!

I filled the form in last week but it wasn't checked.
A lot of anglers are not wanting their catches putting up on websites/ Facebook etc because they will not be quarantining - tut tut
