Thanks for reply, how can i tell what model they are?
initials on the rods are (i think)
T.F.S (underscored)
Sportex Carbon
11 1/2' ......2 1/4lb t.c
Dark grey rod with thickish black duplon handles.

It could be they were custom made at different times or if factory made also not brought as a pair but individually at different times.
Sportex are very well regarded blanks.
Which models are they????

Been offered a pair of sportex carp rods 2 1/4 to, are they any good? Was just looking at a spare set for my little.
Also one is labelled as 11'6, whilst the other says 11 1/2 ft, any idea why that is?
