AFAIK he's been having some experimental treatment. He posted an update a couple of weeks back on Facebook/Instagram. No idea what the prognosis is and of course it's his prerogative to keep certain things to himself. Safe to say the whole angling community wishes him well. Here's hoping the treatment he's having works.

Does any one know how Ian is now ? Last i heard (couple months ago) he was not very well again
