It had a big fish kill last winter carp wise. Jesus christ the rumour mill went crazy during lockdown ended up with half of sussex down there by the sounds of it chasing myths and ghosts.

Yes that’s very true. I did see a pic of a 20lb mirror couple weeks ago somewhere on social media. I’d imagine you’d find out after a bit of leg work and pre bait 😉 wouldn’t be surprised if it’s busier than normal tho, busy lakes might be pushing people elsewhere

I've heard mix sizes being banded about
I did have a look and it's very remote to be on your own, I don't know if there's been any trouble regarding thefts as it's so remote.
The only downside is parking or lack of it, your pretty much advertising your fishing on the stretch by leaving your car on the road

Don’t know to much about it but a mate was speaking to someone that said there are decent fish but if you do a night go with someone as you might get a visit from the pikeys
