Yeah, i've read it too, surprised me a bit tbh. But you are lucky having such a fine shop as your local, good prices and fine people. Let's hope other uk brands just keep supplying. (like fangs in size 5 ffs!!, nowhere to be found)

There are a lot of issues due to the Brexit. My local tackle shop is having a sale on sticky baits since they can get any imported aanymore. Once everything is sold out, sticky will be discontinued.

They wanted Brexit, They got Brexit
Ordered fishing pants from UK, 80pounds, got a mail from UK customs that I had to to pay additional 50 pounds tax.  I sent them back of course.....

Those carriage prices are mad. Any idea why its hardly ever like that the other way around? Ordering from the UK often drives me mad!

I them about a barrow, they replied that they no longer post to the U.K. I will just have to wait for them to come back into stock here.

There's a few European companies like this - Askari, Hiri and Angelsport to name but a few. I bought some Daiwa Catfish rods from Angelsport a couple of years ago, cheap as chips. Bought 3 rods @ 70€ each plus about 10€ carriage, were delivered within 3 days. Like the UK shops but without the carp tax. These European tackle shops are pretty good for Catfish stuff if that's your bag, there's a lot more choice than in the UK!!

I tried to buy some Penn reels from them recently and they stated that they no longer ship to the UK.

I bought a set of penn reels from them a few years ago and they were way cheaper than anywhere here, and arrived in 3days. I'd definitely use them again too

Hi all,
thought I would give a big shout out to these guys. After several weeks of looking and deciding on a chair, I was struggling to find anywhere with stock. I managed to locate the Solar Bankmaster Wide with them, the chair itself was in the sale at 59 euors and shipping only 16 euros, so overall was cheaper than buying in the UK. I ordered it through the website on Monday afternoon and it arrived today.
Outstanding service, provided tracking through UPS and even put a couple of freebies in the box.
