In reply to Post #1 The slip D super Ronnie flipper chod long hair bent stiff rig.
Na in all fairness.....for me its just a length of semi stiff straight through to a size 4 mugga and that's it. Works a treat. No fancy components. just a bait a hook an hooklink. Nails em

In reply to Post #1 Noodle rig for balanced baits/ bottom baits and chod or multi for pop ups 👍 Experimenting with the Ronnie at the minute though 2 bites 2 landed proper nailed so hopefully continues.

Double bottom bait with blowback on long hair, supple braid
German
Multi
Caught loads on each of these
But adapt to what faces you eg weed, long range etc

I pretty much use a mugga slip d rig for all the above, unless a chod is absolutely necessary - which is pretty much only when casting at showing fish in an unknown weedy lake/swim.

In reply to Post #1 stiff hinge or chod for pop ups (both rigs use the same 'chod' section so easy to chop and change)
Slip D on a long shank for bottom baits/snowman/wafters,
Dead simple - total faith in all of these and no reason to overcomplicate with lots of different rigs

Stiff hinge for pop ups.
‘Terry Hearn’ bottom bait rig.
Multi rig, for the very occasional solid bag.

Hi,
What are you're favourite bottom bait, wafter and pop up rigs?
I find myself changing to different rigs all the time and just want a good rig for each of these.
Cheers
