Pretty simple, but effective.

In reply to Post #9 I’ve been using this for a long time and only recently switched from snowman to a single hardened bottom bait with longer hair. Hook holds are immense now

I've decided after being a bit of idiot and playing around with rigs I just need to go back to basics and use what I have caught on in the past.
The bottom bait / wafter rig is sorted....
But I've never found a pop up rig I've been entirely happy with... and also don't seem to catch as many on pop ups on my water.
What in your opinion is a reliable, simple pop up rig?
Often my basic pop-up rig is exactly the same as my standard bottom bait or snowman rig.
Line aligned hook on combi-link, braid or coated braid with putty moulded around the tubing or on a stop knot on the hooklink.
Sometimes pop-ups don't work on a water, or you don't catch as many on pop-ups for some reason.
Then there are times when a pop-up will outcatch a bottom bait on that water.
