you could get 12 on there, Ive fished with 10 on one trip, worked well, loads of water and still options too move. As its rectangular, the middles about 250ish from both banks. loads of opportunities.

It a mega lake and will become a top draw venue in coming years. As there growing quickly. Loads in there and they love to show. Just really good fishing in lovely surroundings.

52 acres and 15 swims sounds a lot of water for 12 but it all depends if anglers start getting in the boats, they can soon get carried away with where they put their rods 150/200 yards out in a boat is not a problem but well beyond mosts ability to cast and bait and at those distances is probably in someone else's water.

Evenly spaced swims/pegs/plots/pitches (just to please all) which it looks to be but no fishing along one bank from what i can see probably means your going to ge approximately 4ish acres of water per angler some slightly more or less I think it would be more than enough if everyone works from the bank.

Not seen the place but 50acres surely is more than enough room for 12? Weird for matey to say 6 max?

ive fished it a few times, never used a boat, just a throwing stick. did well on every trip, loads of fish between my group every time and there just getting bigger. Were no 60s the first trip, theres 4 or 5 60z now with shed loads of big 40z and 50z.

Safe and secure, quiet with loads of room being 50+ acres. Im a huge fan of the place but its getting busier now its reputation is growing.

All baits worked. I was knackered by the end of my last trip, sticking almost 60kg of 24mm boilies but caught well and all from the bank. TBH, his boats are excellent and cheap to rent, just didn't want to do that but would if I was fishing sept or Oct and wanted BIG beds of particle and boilie which you will need then. Theres LOADS of fish in there.

Hello mate, Used to be called Etang 52 and I fished it for the first time in the spring a couple of years ago when we had the lake to ourselves.

We made use of the boat to map our swims and initially bait up, between us we had 52 fish and got through quite a lot of boilie and particle in order to hold the fish, but all the rods were well within easy casting distance.

Lovely lake that I believe is going to be another big fish water in the not too distant future, its already doing 50s and the odd 60 now so its definitely going in the right direction.

I am back out mid November and already counting down the days.

2 in baliffs
2 in Church
2 in Plateau
is how we fished it
the corner closest to the lodge was called no carp corner
maybe 1 in there but that is a maximum mate unless they have moved the swims about
,my mate fished it last week I will ask him
I know they had plenty of Grass carp , not sure what else
will update once he informs me

Spoke earlier to someone who has just finished 2 weeks on there... His mate used a boat and caught well... Bloke I know just fished normally... Both of them had lots if good fish on the trip.

Fish coming from distance, some at 70 yds etc and a fair few from 15 to 35yds out...so fish coming from all ranges mate 😊

Will do you a decent write up once we get back from our trip... Roll on late Sept 😁

We are out there the end of September, think only 7 of us booked on. Ross said to us no need for boats and most spots are in casting range. We weren't sure to double up as didn't know how much space between each swim. How much bait do you reckon we should take each ? Thanks for any info 👍
