In reply to Post #7 Thanks for the heads up
Quite liking the sound of willinghurst, not heard of it before but looks like a few lakes on the complex may fit the bill.
Who knows if we get lucky in the first few hours we could try for something bigger in another lake.
Cheers for the suggestions.
Edit - She had a 5lb mirror at willinghurst

In reply to Post #1 I don't know if you were considering One Summer Pond this weekeend at linear, but i thought i'd make you aware of this post on facebook from Linear:
** One Summer Pond**
Unfortunately we have had to close One Summer Pond due to low oxygenation levels. This is just a precautionary measure. As soon as we are happy with the levels we will reopen the pond. Sorry for any inconvenience
This was posted on Facebook at roughly 0900 on 30/07/2020.
Just FYI. Hope you and your daughter have a great day out.

In reply to Post #1 One summer pond at Linear, be about an Hour and twenty for you. Average stamp of fish is around 3lb but some decent double figure fish to be had. I took my Grandson a couple of weeks ago, he's 4, absolutely loved it, plenty of action to keep him interested. We had loads of smaller fish and a 8lb common and 12lb mirror. Going again this weekend.

I'm taking my daughter fishing on Saturday, I would love for her to catch her first carp. Not worried about size at all.
Any suggestions? I'm near Heathrow...
I can only think of Lizard or Gold Valley
