In reply to Post #7 The bottom bait straight out of the bag is so underused these days its untrue. I love them. Exactly the same as every other bait in the swim (if only fishing boilies)

In reply to Post #1 Sometimes all these bright specials work against you especially by the end of the summer so have confidence in match the hatch straight from the bag.

In reply to Post #5 Good point, because tiger nuts are not actually nuts, they are “tubers” just like sweet potatoes

In reply to Post #1 All nuts banned or could you use brazils or peanut ?

In reply to Post #1 I have a lot of faith in making them a bit more visual rather than glugged to the max, a white pop up or just a bit of fake corn on top of a standard bottom bait gives me confidence. Having said that I really only fish sort day sessions now and don't do nights...in the hours of darkness a visual bait is not going to help at all and the heavily glugged one could be much more effective.

In reply to Post #1 They can all have their day, it's working out what flicks their switch on your waters.
You could always make your own tiger hook baits.

In reply to Post #1 Yes, on occasions where less is more, or wintertime scratching for a bite.
A highly attractive single bait cured, glugged, with or without really elevated levels is all you need IMHO.

Do you really think a glugged / soaked / cured special pop up or the like are better than match the hatch boilies?
Unfortunate for us tiger nuts are banned on our local even for hookbaits as to me that is one of best hookbaits out there.
