First time on the middle pool and plumbed for peg 42. Done 48 hours lovely place. Weather quite warm and sunny, used semi stiff rig with pacific tuna pop ups, plus basic bottom rig with krill boilies. Nowt but crayfish as stated. Caught two of the critters and they had been munching my bait. Plumbed for zigs but no joy. Not many people catching. Later on on the day had a couple of decent bream and roach on pellet but no show with the carp. Learnt a lot TBH and lo9k corward to going back. By the way absolutely packed out over the weekend.

In reply to Post #1 Do a search of the forum, loads of historic stuff re middle pool. Speak to the guys in the office, always friendly and willing to help. The fish do follow the wind but there are good pegs that will produce no matter what. I've fished it quite a bit in the past, so have a few on here but you asked for recent exp. Middle does get rammed beware.

Anyone recently fished Middle pool Baden Hall, just wondered for any tips, best baits/rigs and pegs. We are going down there in a couple of weeks time for a 48 hour stint. Any advice would be appreciated
