Stafford moor have had 2 big lodges/ well more like houses on the specimen lake bud, pricey but they do look very very nice if your interested in that. You can fish from straight behind the lodge it is more like a mini house with everything you could thing of

Can't vouch for this place as I've never been, but Blackthorn Fishery has lakeside lodges.

Going to olivemead in September, was very close to booking cherry lakes until I enquired about what would happen if we went into another lockdown, got told I'd lose 50% of my money and wouldn't re-schedule unless I paid extra, may have changed there policy by now but its definitely worth checking first👍

Hook End mate.

Mill Lodge Retreat

Have a look at their Facebook page.

It’s saying on there it’s 3.8 acres, not sure about that more like 2 but If your local I’m sure they would let you have a walk around before you book up.

Mill Lodge Retreat is a new venue in Brentwood Essex, opening I think in August this year. I was on the syndicate the last two years but they have closed the syndicate and gone down the holiday route now with 9 newly installed little cabins around the lake. Lovely quite place but the fishing was by no means easy with only about 60-70 carp present during the syndicate days(cracking looking fish though). Reportedly 200 fish present now so they have obviously doubled the stock to make it more of a holiday style runs water.
Not sure what sort of budget you have mate, but might be worth a look if you want the cabin.

Looking for recommendations for a venue in the UK for me and a mate. Preferably with a lodge/caravan that you can fish from and sleep in to save taking bivvies and bedchairs...

Cherry Lakes is the obvious one but any other suggestions?
