I have the Aeropress, and one of these in the 2 cup size, its definitely less faff and the perfect size for a single cup, as for which coffee, i like the Taylors Hot Lava

That's the one and perfect with evap 
I brought a bag of those weasel shyte robusta beans coming back from Ho Chi Minh several years ago, with cash I'd not spent, unbelievably expensive. Vietnam is massive on coffee in their culture and everyday life, think it's from the French colonial days. Way too strong for me, one cup and I'd be rattling for hours! Nature's speed. Couldn't drink it. I later found out how they treat the civet cats or whatever they are so wouldn't buy again

Yes, i have tried them....mmmmm I’m not too sure about them.....i just use one of those metal jobbies which you put the water in the bottom and the ground coffee in the metal filter / funnel thing Screw together and put on my stove....small can of evaporated milk and jobs a Goodun....
I have to be careful though as i like it so much if i go nuts i end up like a beaver on Speed when I’m trying to get me head down....i limit myself to a couple of cups in the morning and then tea throughout the day....

Seen it advertised on tv, but never found it in a supermarket. its made by Taylor's I think.

Take a look at the Bodum travel coffee cup.
It’s literally a cafetiere inside a cup, put your filter coffee in and press down no faffing about.

Yup
I use a company called "Yorkshire Tea" that puts portions in little bags for me, packs it in boxes and drops it off at my local supermarket for me to pick up as and when
Nice to have a little coffee now and then though, especially if you've a long drive home and you fluked a fish in the night

Probably mistook it for cafetiere, I don't see/hear cafetera used much, usually called a Moka pot or espresso maker
I prefer the coffee from them to coffee out of the aeropress, cheaper too

Not sure we're talking about the same thing mate. I've never seen a glass cafetera they're metal and screw together.

The Nanopresso is great too.
Got a Nespresso capsule adaptor for mine as that's what I use at home. Whole thing is not much bigger than a mug.

The thread should’ve been locked after yonny’s post, no doubt the aeropress is the answer.
Makes better coffee than a cafetière and is easier to use/clean/transport too.
Even a bad fresh coffee is better than a fancy instant, that’s why they put finely ground real beans in the expensive ones because the aroma can’t be duplicated with freeze dried crap

Probably won't satisfy the connoisseur who would insist of beans but when it comes to jars you could give Azera Intenso a go?

Have been looking at a cheap cafeteria one but ones I've looked at have been glass and I'd worry if break it. Also I've had to stop the sugar as I'm a diabetic and I do miss sugar in my coffee

Never heard of the Aeropress? I just take a small cafetera and a bag of ground beans. Can't stand instant coffee.

I'm finding it difficult to find a descent tasting coffee at the moment. I normally have kenco or carte noirre coffee or similar. But just seem to taste like hot water latery. Did try some lidli coffee but seemed to have a burnt taste to it. So what coffee are you guys drinking on the bank which it in a jar ?
