In reply to Post #1 Shakespeare do a nice rod in their sigma range that;s around the £50 - £60 quid mark. Two tips as said and should be good for your all round river fishing on the feeder etc.

In reply to Post #3 A lot of them will come as twin tip avons with a solid and a quiver tip, these will be perfect. Drennan do a nice one but I don't know your budget

im new to this kind of fishing but want to start fishing some smsll stretches of river for chub roach perch etc
What kind of rod do i need? Ive got a 10ft ngt feeder rod but its very cheap and not sure it can handle much

I want to use a feeder or sometimes a float depending on what i fancy, is there one rod to do it all?
