Well I wasn’t going to go back over fifty posts to search for that, only you seem to have the time for that, but thanks for pointing it out because it shows you can backtrack Viktor, see it’s not so hard
One thing I will say is you’re a tenacious character, like a proverbial dog with a bone, not only on this subject

Also are you really that naive that you think knife crime is only at high levels since the UK media started reporting it?

2. You were wrong because I did clarify that epidemic was a more suitable word in post #559
3. What you THINK does not mean it is true, accurate, correct, a fact or the only way people can think

In the days of the football hooligan there was violence but not much deep stabbing with long knives, more likely a bottle, chain or a stanley knife would be used and the aim would be to wound and scar consequently there were less deaths.

I remember when there was a lot of text speak on here and it was frowned upon by the majority and it pretty much died completely, you still don't see much of it on here. When it comes to spelling and grammar there's a lot more tolerance as we all didn't get A+ marks, as long as people are understood then it's not mentioned as there's some very good anglers on here and we don't want miss their input just because their writing isn't 100% .
Wayne you make a few mistakes on here and there but we all know what you mean and anyone pretending that they don't must be the ones with a problem. Apart from here I bet no one ever pulls you up when you talk about fishing on the main forum and that's how it should be

See how delusional you are, maybe I am missing something here but there is nowhere in your posts where you made a distinction between pandemic and epidemic, anyway it’s all just words and contrary to what has been posted on here I think that knife crime in the 80’s was regarded as somewhat more serious than it is today so I would disagree that it wasn’t reported, in fact I would say it was reported more than it is now when it is an everyday occurance it’s just that it didn’t happen anywhere near as much as it does today, be a man Viktor and admit you made an error, it’s not hard to admit you’re wrong,maybe you should re- read your own posts!
Oh and for clarity, I am far from a supporter of Boris Johnson so don’t imply that mate, something you are very good at by the way

Exactly.
Sources for my views are;
- people that have lived in London for over 40 years, in areas that have had gang violence throughout that time
- people that have been or are still in gangs both locally and in other areas
- books, documentaries and audio from ex-gang members.
- also my own personal experiences with my town and surrounding areas and what I know to have happened even if it wasn’t reported to the police or local news.
If you haven’t experienced it or know people that have then you don’t really know the situation. Bit like when Henry said racism isn’t an issue in this country because he has never experienced it.

Word of advice though, if you haven’t experienced something, it can still happen. I’m guessing you just skipped right on by where I said I have close relatives and parents that live/lived in London for a number of decades. I’ve read a lot of literature, autobiographies and history books, watched many documentaries, listened to lectures. You know, educated myself on a subject before talking about it.
I’m guessing by what you’re trying to insinuate is that your older than me so you know better...imagine if that were true. World would be a very **** place to live wouldn’t it.
