In reply to Post #40 Ok but that makes it no difference as all the others shouldn't be on there. I get what you're saying as guesting puts him down in my estimation but still doesnt give anyone the right to try and force people off a lake.

In reply to Post #26 Fair enough I wasn’t aware of those points but (there’s always a but) he’s not the first name angler to guest on a non fishing water either in the uk or abroad, is it still correct to tell someone it’s time up?

Ah..in light of the 'poaching an under the radar' location comments I cant defend the bloke now.

I wasn’t aware of that as he refers to it as a club lake. However I have seen it in a couple of Nigel sharp articles about yately back in the day of him receiving a red card. I’m all for angling etiquette but that only goes so far. Like a lot of you guys I think if your paying for your ticket it’s nobodies buisness if you move on, and they would get that reply if they tried to pressure me

In reply to Post #37 Two sides to every story, cough, sorry.... article.
If this is factual and correct, you can understand why he is getting grief to leave or be

In reply to Post #26 No publicity is often the best policy. Like fight club.
In respect of the locals.
Some things are best left under the radar
More so when you are really enjoying the lake, because once the cat is out of the bag, the circus 🎪 arrives and f**ks it all up

In reply to Post #33 Sorry the impression I got was that he was fishing a syndicate lake that he was paying for. No sympathy for anyone poaching a lake.

In reply to Post #27 The lake is open to all he’s not paying to fish there. It’s no fishing ? What else is there to understand?

When the bloke in the bivvy across from you starts playing robbie Williams songs through the night....

In reply to Post #26 I knew there was a reason I stopped following what big name anglers are doing.
I only really care for my own fishing, not what others are doing. We have made carp fishing a blooming circus.
I bet the local anglers who were under the radar and 'sneaking' in and out didn't advertise themselves.
