In reply to Post #2 I joined this year purely for some peace and quiet fishing, and that’s exactly what you get on there. Your left alone to do your own thing. The lakes very quiet with only 12 on the syndicate as far as I’m aware. Not bad for 105 acres. Stock wise it’s unknown really but it’s certainly a very low stock of carp. The ones I’ve seen pics of have all been nice fish. Nothing massive though, mid to upper 20s. Few of the other members say there’s some originals in there so you never know. The Trent does flood into the lake sometimes and that could of brought new fish into the pit. It’s wild on there though and your left alone. You can use 4 rods and there’s no stupid rules either. Boats have now been banned. The biggest thing I’d say to consider if your wanting to join is that it’s run as a separate ticket to the girton complex and it’s first and foremost a sailing club. And it’s open to the public walking round too.

In reply to Post #1 No boats. Stock unknow Heard so many different story’s like nothing over double blah blah
But since the flood god knows what’s in there now. Lots of fish went in the Trent. Some went in the lake across the road
It’s a lot of money just to fish the boating lake Plenty of barrow work unless you have some Nash scopes lots of walking and looking.
