And I know a lot of wrong uns who’d all be happier to get a clump than be strangled.
As I’ve said I’m all for a bit of rough and tumble, it’s the only way with some of the degenerates they come across. Doesn’t take much to have an accident and either kill somebody or cut off the oxygen to their brain long enough to cause some serious damage. Knee caps mend, brains don’t... imagine one of the many officers you know having their life ruined by an accident at work.
Let some of these bullies go and try policing a rough estate, you need to use your brain in a situation like that and not a sleeper hold or it’ll be you eating through a straw with only yourself to blame.
Got a lot of time for the police, it’s not a job I’d want. But as with all walks of life some are tossers

Carry out their duties in a professional manner is what they are trained and paid to do. It’s their profession. Therefore doing their job is acting professionally. Losing your head isn’t professional in any job.

Honestly. Stop talking crap, you just look like a silly little boy

Trying to resist arrest, until they cop for one. I know a lot of coppers and I know exactly what they deal with on a regular basis. Cocks like the one below deserve everything they get. Until all the recent publicity no one would have battered an eyelid

Be funny when nobody wants to be a cop because they are going to micro analyse everything thing they do. It’s simple for me, you deal with ****s, you deal with them their way. **** em

Your chocking me, are your chocking me. You wasn’t bothered a couple a minutes ago when you knocked somebody unconscious you ****

I actually doubt he was trying to assault the copper mate, just resisting arrest for the assault he was allegedly involved in.
I believe the copper was a penis, not to say the other bloke didn’t deserve a clip round the ear but you can’t go cutting off people’s air supply.. bad form from a person in his position.
Maybe pepper spray won’t hit the spot all the time, nobody is bigger than a size 9 in the Jacobs though

That or he’s lost his head...which isn’t very professional of him

You do talk some bollox. Lost his head. Typical of somebody looking in from the outside. Yeah, somebody is trying to smash your face. Mmmmmm, must stay professional

Nor would they walk through a sweep of the legs and being put on their arse. Much less violent and the same result...

This copper wasn’t MMA trained otherwise he wouldn’t need to resort to trying to choke someone unconscious, he would have just took him down a much easier way and got in to a dominant position to make the arrest. That or he’s lost his head...which isn’t very professional of him

Probably used CS spray and a taser.

Edit - not sure what your issue is about “how would I deal with him then”
I just pointed out a lot of coppers are getting in trouble for what they are saying to people recently.

What exactly is your issue just out of interest. Because I didn’t even comment on what happened apart from he used a direct threat of stopping him breathing if he didn’t give up.

I suggest a therapist. Maybe you’ll have better luck unlocking your issues and getting over them than trying to bait people on a forum

I didn’t put it because I purposely wanted to see peoples reactions, hence the simple, what do you think to this?

You see Mal, people just do not know EXACTLY what goes off behind the scenes and you can have all the training you like but when it comes to the crunch it’s survival skills that kick in and everything else goes out of the window

Lots of cops train in martial arts so they can defend themselves when dealing with ****s like the one below.

Like I said, below. I would love to see some of the people on here dealing with a raging nutter, add a drug fuelled cocktail better still and Parva and even tasers don’t have much effect on some folk, they just want to smash you to bits. And when you deal with people like this all the time, it’s changes your mind set

Will you please be nice and sit down while I spray you in the eyes with this Parva

They are more likely to try and take it off you and smash your face in with can

If the bloke being arrested had been rioting and 'sparked somebody out' - then why not put that in your original post so we all knew more information to give a more objective response?

I answered based on what you posted and what I saw in the clip - and then you go off on your snowflake and feather duster rant (which - if you read the subsequent posts, was suggested by absolutely no-one except you).

based on the OP and what was there - and your original question good arrest or not, the only response is 'no'. It is not a good arrest as he has been withdrawn from that aspect of his work pending an investigation. a 'good' arrest wouldn't need this course of action would it? Your answer is there in the report and it has been given by people who know more about it than you or I - i.e. his superiors in the police force.

and all the bull about him doing it but just 'keeping it quiet' and he's probably a MMA fan? yeah that's what we want from our police force - a bunch of connor macgregor wannabies who join up so they can beat people up and keep it secret....

have you ever tried putting out a fire with fire? you know what you get? more fire.

I'll agree with you on one thing - his and his partners bodycam footage will provide more evidence as to what really happened.

That copper was an idiot. I’m all for dishing out some heavy handed policing, but at this point in time it doesn’t matter if they’re black, white, brown or aquamarine.. don’t ****ing strangle hold people
Give him a clump round the knee caps with a night stick, tase or gas him, whatever you want. They’re issued with those things for a reason. But don’t go strangling people in the age of trial by smart phone video which conveniently misses the full story.
Policing like this undoes any work nationwide forces put in with communities.
I get a warm feeling inside seeing people arrested for stuff I’ve not done since turning over a new leaf and if you resist arrest you deserve a bit of slap and tickle. Whenever I’ve been nicked I just played the game and funnily enough never really got a hiding, certainly didn’t get bloody choked!
This is a case of 2 wrongs making a right... mess

Yes bob.......simple sleeper works wonders to mouthy ****s!

Policing tactics to match the struggle are ok but if your losing then go for a sleeper.......police training should nowadays include BJJ........effective and satisfying......

Exactly that

And when you are up against it proper training can help a little but you can also be fighting for your life too and that is a totally different game

“I give up”
Yeah I’m sure they’ve heard that before. Translated means can you loosen your grip so I have the chance to struggle free
Once the cuffs on is when they’ll loosen their grip.
