Hi Scozza,

In any rational enquiry into the BLM accusations of racism and police brutality in the US, the levels of black crime, perhaps should be taken into consideration as a possible contributory factor.
The population percentage of blacks in the US is approx 15%.
The FBI stats for 2018 show that, for all crimes other than homicide, black arrests were approx 30%, twice their population percentage.
The homicide stats show that approx 53% of victims were black.
The homicide stats show that, of the perps, approx 55% were black and approx 30% were unknown.
Given the stats, it would be reasonable to suspect that half the unknown perps might be blacks, which would then raise their perp percentage to 70%, which is the percentage of blacks killed by other blacks.
In 2018, the homicide victim number was 14123. Of these, 410 were listed as justifiable homicides in confrontations with law enforcement.
Given the above figures, the disproportionate number of black murders by other blacks in their communities,
I would think, would be as much cause for concern by BLM and the establishment, as the deaths in confrontations with police.

Edit. On re- examining the data, the percentage of black homicide perps overall for 2018 is 53% not 70%.

Nope go for the main body mass and the spray carries the CS with it. And spraying the face could allow for it to be pushed into the eye causing major damage.

Its basically a powerful water pistol with side effects

Unfortunately now in USA tensions are high between the police and the black community, where they ever not?

We were not at the latest incident and suppositions and assumptions have been made by both sides and to be honest it will take days to go through the evidence, trace witnesses and come to a semblance of knowledge about what happened!

In relation to the racist idiots yesterday they have done more for the BLM movement and highlighting inequalities than last weeks protesters, both peaceful and violent, could ever have highlighted themselves.
Those idiots who Nazi saluted, carried England flags and basically just wanted a fight do not represent the majority of the population of the UK. I saw in the media beatings from both sides and animalistic tendencies not seen since the poll tax riots. The police were in a no win scenario and full kit from the off was the way forward, but also it should have been last week when the marches started. Both were never going to remain peaceful and lets just accept we live in a more violent society.

I believe this has highlighted and exposed the failings in modern society, not all have been from the "white" side. Failings have occurred, opportunities have been missed and now a period of reflection and acceptance from all sides and an understanding that there is light at the end of the tunnel to resolve these issues.

I thought it was policy to spray in the face as whenever i see them spraying it , seems nearly always to be in the face , it's not like a cs round in a crowd , 1 spray of that to the face and your fuc*ed

Even so , Two blokes at least the same size as him with batons tasers (don't know if they had pepper spray )have to resort to guns , pathetic !

Pepper spray or CS spray does not work on 10% of the population! And having been CS gassed and sprayed it definitely affects me

And you don't spray to the face you aim for the chest the biggest body mass

I posted earlier in this thread about US police getting killed whilst on duty and the majority of the deaths are shootings. I also posted about how they are trained to deal with them, crawling on the offender checking for guns because a lot of officers have been shot like this, when the offender is on the ground!. Some basic information here:

2010
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 180 deaths in the line of duty.[3] 161 law enforcement officers were killed in 2010. The average from 1990 to 2010 was 164 per year.[4]

2011
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 187 deaths in the line of duty.[5] The FBI reported that in 2011, "69 law enforcement officers from around the nation were killed in the line of duty, while another 53 officers died in accidents while performing their duties."[6] (released November 19, 2012) NBC News reported 165 dead.[7]

2012
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 141 deaths in the line of duty.[8] For 2012, the FBI records 49 deaths in the line of duty.[9] The FBI Fund counted 49 federal, state and local officers to have been killed in 2012.

2013
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 128 deaths in the line of duty.[10] The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund counted 102 federal, state and local officers to have been killed in 2012.[11] The official count from the FBI is that 27 law enforcement officers were 'feloniously' killed in the line of duty in 2013 (the lowest in a 35-year period 1980-2014), and an additional 49 died in accidents (total: 76).[2][12]

2014
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 158 deaths in the line of duty.[13] The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund counted 126 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial officers killed.[14] The preliminary count from the FBI is that 51 law enforcement officers were 'feloniously' killed in the line of duty in 2014, and an additional 44 died in accidents (total: 95).[12]

2015
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 164 deaths in the line of duty.[15] The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund counted 124 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial officers killed. 42 officers were shot and killed and 52 officers were killed in traffic-related incidents.[16]

2006
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 171 deaths in the line of duty.[17] The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund counted 135 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial officers killed. 64 officers were shot and killed and 21 were ambushed.[18]

2017
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 152 deaths in the line of duty.[19] The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund counted 128 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial officers killed. Fatalities decreased more than 10 percent with traffic-related fatalities the leading cause this year.[20] Firearms-related fatalities were the second-leading cause of officer deaths, with 44 officers shot and killed in 2017. This represents a 33 percent decrease from the 66 officers killed in firearm-related incidents during 2016.[21]

2018
The Officer Down Memorial Page reports 150 deaths in the line of duty.[22] The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund counted 144 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial officers killed. Firearms-related fatalities were the leading cause of officer deaths for the year.[23]

You could say there is a sense of paranoia?

Whilst ever they have got guns this will happen, simple. They have to deal with a lot of violent people, what should they use a feather duster?

Yes there are other options but this just goes to show, they can take them off you and use them on you!

If it turns to guns and knifes that is a serious threat and like all people who are trained to use them, its you or them ultimately, who�s it gonna be?

I wonder why there wasn�t a white life�s matter or even black lives matter riot everytime an officer got shot by a black man, strange isn�t it?

They outnumbered him and he�s apparently too intoxicated to drive, but he still got the better of them.
Maybe they need coppers that could fight their way out of a wet paper bag without a taser and pistol, ours seem to manage it. This pair shouldn�t be on the frontline if they�re that easily overpowered by one man.
Or just shoot him in the knee or foot?
I�m all for capital punishment and shooting certain criminals on sight, but not making up for your own stupid mistakes or weakness by killing somebody over a traffic violation

May as well get rid of the police and have Every man, women and child for themselves!!!

Guy is shot because he resisted arrest, took the taser of the policeman before pointing it at the officer! Result is copper shoots man!
