The hemp oil will help preserve them so should be fine and as said about high salt content will keep them fine you will find that the oil makes them harder than the normaly are out the bag

In reply to Post #1 Ask cc Moore and see what they think but I'd say good to go if there is no visible signs of the bait turning. The tuna has such a high salt content it acts as a natural preservative in my experience

In reply to Post #4 I agree, put them in on a spot you don't intend fishing see what happens, personally I think they would be ok but anything that can reduce confidence is not a good thing.

In reply to Post #1 Personally I’d chuck them if you can’t put them in a test situation (feeding carp in a clear environment etc).
Do want to be sat behind them in a fishing situation with the doubt that they might be sub-par?
I wouldn’t! Especially not for the sake of a kilo

In reply to Post #1 If the liquid they are in still looks good I would use them

In reply to Post #1 No different than using a glugged hook bait, plenty of people use them when they are donkeys old, id chuck them in.

Hi everyone,
Just looking for some advice on some freezer baits, if possible?
Around July/August I put around a kilo of Pacific Tuna into a bucket & added Hemp Oil and Pacific Tuna liquid (after they had been air dried) and just wondering if they would still be good to use?
They have been in a sealed bait bucket but only been turned and shook up on a few occasions rather than a regular basis.
I know that I still could use them but don't want to be at a disadvantage because they are no longer fresh. It's only a Kilo so not a huge loss if they wouldn't be good to go.
Thanks in advance guys!
