Thanks but I had a few mates who were on CAA and both only spent a few years on there as said it was too busy.

I'm after somewhere quiet and nice to fish.

They've closed the membership to new members and renewals due to closing off swims as they dont want it to busy but when the membership reopens then well worth joining

Trying joining CAA they have loads of waters in and around Chelmsford. It gets busy but there have some lovely venues.

Hi All,

After one thing and another both my club lake and now syndicate seem to have taken a turn for the worse so I'm resigned to having to try and find a lake a bit further away for next season do thought I'd try and start researching now. Willing to travel for a nice place. Not after monsters just a really nice peaceful lake without the tyre kickers.

Can anyone recommend any places up to an hour from Southend way?

PM's welcome with any info.

Thanks guys
