To be fair, stuff like this fascinates me and it makes me wonder what is really true and not so i once did a bit of research, took me a while to find something but... 
There are different techniques they use but a lot run certain patterns, the explorer one is very popular...
So Mr X, you look like a bit of an explorer to me (open ended question)
I bet you participate in sports and outdoor activities (open ended question)
Well, yes i like carp fishing....(OK, now were talking)
They follow a pattern and ask open ended questions so you fill out the blanks and they encourage you to 
If they knew it was Joan they would say Joan lol. Wait a minute, my grandma had a friend called Joan, wow!
I bet you have had sad times in your life (haven't we all), you will tell them about it, they will run a pattern
I bet you have had happy times in your life (pattern)
i bet your not happy now (pattern)
Well, yeah, that is right... (we always have something on our minds)

My elderly next door neighbour went to a medium after her husband died, she came back full of joy and now reckons she sees and talks to Les, if it makes her happy then let it be it isn’t doing her any harm, as for the famous mediums I watched that Derek Ancora once and he said to this bloke I’m getting the letter J coming from your direction, does it mean anything to you, the bloke said No, so Derek said not a James or a John, the bloke said No definitely, with that a woman about 5 spaces away said I’ve lost my Aunt Joan recently, and Ancora went yes it’s her it’s her it’s your Aunt Joan 😂😂😂

Can’t explain it to this day Jim and been honest it’s not something I have talked about a lot, who would believe it, only somebody who has seen the same or similar I guess?

You can only say what you see James. For two people to have the same premonition at the same time and see the exact same things that does not add up, something spooky going on

All these ghosts wearing flat caps etc, surely if people’s spirits could pass to the other side there clothing etc couldn’t yet no one ever sees a naked ghost 😂

I think it’s one of those mate, unless you have experienced it people will think you are talking bollox
I agree though, weird goings on, especially when two people see the exact same thing at the same time
Fascinates me, same as the universe, the soul, life after death etc. The universe does not just end does it 
Same as premonitions, I’ve had a lot come true over the years 
I once watched a program and it basically said that we only use a very small amount of our brains true capability because we don’t know how to. Maybe this is part of it?
Saying that I reckon some people don’t even use 1%

Weird mate, weird.
I was working nights one evening not long after the birth of our twins. I phoned the wife every night at 9pm to see how they were all doing. Anyway, i get this strange feeling that all is not right at home so I telephoned as soon as I got this feeling which was about 8pm. Wife picks up the phone and she’s upset because she had seen a shadow come out from underneath the door that leads to the stairs and this shadow then stops over the cot where our twin daughters were sleeping. During this both my wife and son looked at each other and both said what they had just seen. It was a company where I worked where no bosses were rarely around so as long as my work was done I could do pretty much what I chose really or even leave the premises. I tell my mate and because he drives we went to my house and whilst we couldn’t see anything unusual it transpired that old man Franklin who lived over the back of me in a row of terraced houses had passed away roughly at that time ‘I knew his son Kevin who told me’ and maybe it was the spirit world coming to fetch his soul.
Weird stuff.
