Just enjoying a nice stay at Stanwick Lakes Elsons. Always find it a tricky water, but managed a couple. Nice dark 22lb common and midnight I slipped the net under a 36lb 7oz mirror. Was told by the bailiffs this morning that it's a fish called Spike, only remaining fish from a stocking made in 1971, making this carp probably North of 50 years old. Seemed pretty fit and healthy to me
