It depends on the worker, because some of them use more cement, other use it less, but on average, for 100 bricks, I would say that you need a bag of 25kg. Cement comes in 25kg bags at a 3:1 mix you should be able to lay about 100 bricks assuming they have frogs and are laid frogs up. Usually, I am buying a bit more of them from Fleet Up Marketplace, just in any case, it's better to have a little left than not enough. You can use it for something else afterwards, I am sure that anyone can find a decent application for it.

4 x 25 kg bags of sand and a bag of cement will kill it , try 2 sand a 1/2 a bag of cement first , not easy mixing 4 with a spade and you might not need it ,if you dont have a mixer use a wheel barrow , or the floor if you dont have a wheel barrow and if you have no febmix plasticizer , just mix a little bit of washing up liquid in with the water instead !

I'd get three big bags of sand from selco and one bag of dust , there bags of sand are twice the size of others

Morning chaps. quick question, I’m building some patio steps and will need 100 bricks, how many bags of sand and cement will I roughly need? Cheers
