In reply to Post #791 Used to watch the old spaghetti westerns with my dad.
Me too. Then I'd spend hours in the garden trying unsuccessfully to lasso stuff with a floppy old tow rope that lived in the garage, while humming the music.

In reply to Post #788 Used to watch the old spaghetti westerns with my dad. Watched them all again when I was older and loved them even more, especially because of the soundtracks...
This is my favourite one.

In reply to Post #781 Sly and family stone, top stuff. But well past his prime. Went to see them in Bournemouth a few years ago. Came on vey late. Sound appalling. Some people seemed to think he was the bees knees. Got a full refund and a free ticket to see Brian Wilson. Real shame, loved their stuff. Think they might have opened woodstock? Similar character, George clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic. Probably ingested as many strange substances but has managed to keep it together

In reply to Post #783 I'll have a proper listen to that tomorrow, quite like it but it's not fitting my mood. something about it reminded me of the temper trap, will dig that out for the drive to work

Really good, and bumping into them on my way back from the bar I said 'Great stuff lads, really enjoyed it' to which one of them said 'Oh, thanks very much sir'. I felt about seventy five years old.
They had their band name translated as 'Dead Cats and Dogs' by some good looking Italian girl in the audience. They seemed happy with that.
