In reply to Post #799 well at least we know his soul is safe eh?
You seen the film 'Crossroads'? Ralph Macchio as the slide guitar prodigy who takes on the devil's champion guitarist (Steve Vai!!!) - surely based around this song
Spanker - v funny
a couple from this guy who has been criminally ignored here so far....
He sings better than me. He plays guitar better than me. He dances better than me. And then he does all 3 at once.... Prince Rogers Nelson RIP - hard to limit the choices but these 3 are always on my playlist
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Px4jY1TVc - Shelia E on percussion

In reply to Post #791 Used to watch the old spaghetti westerns with my dad.
Me too. Then I'd spend hours in the garden trying unsuccessfully to lasso stuff with a floppy old tow rope that lived in the garage, while humming the music.

In reply to Post #788 Used to watch the old spaghetti westerns with my dad. Watched them all again when I was older and loved them even more, especially because of the soundtracks...
This is my favourite one.

In reply to Post #781 Sly and family stone, top stuff. But well past his prime. Went to see them in Bournemouth a few years ago. Came on vey late. Sound appalling. Some people seemed to think he was the bees knees. Got a full refund and a free ticket to see Brian Wilson. Real shame, loved their stuff. Think they might have opened woodstock? Similar character, George clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic. Probably ingested as many strange substances but has managed to keep it together
